Weekend at a Glance: A Child is Born #93
Last weekend, a good friend of mine had her baby presented at church. It's still pretty weird to see people my age doing grown up things. Everyone is getting married and having babies and all I want to ask is, "What are you doing? Don't you have homework to do or something?" It was just yesterday that we were 16. Like, you can't really be responsible enough for marriage and babies yet. But they are. And although I'm not in that space to be responsible of someone else's life or heart, I can still admire that there are people relishing in the beauty of family. A chosen family.I can't remember the last time I held a baby. I forgot how tiny and cuddly they can be. Babies are such a precious gift and significant responsibility. I'm really glad that Emmaleigh is in the caring hands of Edwin and Edwine. And if she isn't the freakin cutest girl....I'll gladly take on aunty duties (except diaper changes - ha!).So happy for my friends and cannot wait to watch Em grow.
