Weekend at a Glance: You Don't Need a Lot of Money to Have Fun #78
I love John Mayer. I really love John Mayer. But with mere hours until his concert in Atlanta on Friday night, I could not decide whether I wanted to go. It was a combination of things. One, I just didn't want to spend $90 and two, I didn't want to go alone. So by the end of my work day, I decided to save my pennies and see one of my favorite artists another time. It was such a hard decision to make, really. Ugh, I don't even want to write about it anymore.Saturday, I met up with my no-nonsensical and now pregnant friend Kalina for brunch at West & Mill. Random: it's weird to see how everyone has grown up. From college parties and all-nighters to nine to fives, husband and wives. Crazy. Her shrimp and grits. My short-rib hash.I wouldn't say it was the best brunch. There's soooo many places to eat in Atlanta but a lot of them are just okay. I wish we had more places that stood out. Especially if I have to pay a pretty penny for it.We headed to Atlantic Station to watch Baggage Claim. As always, something was happening there. I have no idea what that orange thing is.One thing I do love about Atlanta is there are endless family oriented events to do. Not that it applies to me but it's great for people watching.Fall is my favorite time of year but I'm definitely cool on it being cold already :-/Sunday, I went back to Ocean Prime for dinner. EXCITED face.Sea scallops for me.People think I'm always doing something but I'm really not. Maybe incomparison to not doing anything (lol). But there's so much to do for FREE. It's just a matter of researching what you like. It's your job to make your life interesting.
